Government intends to adopt a special program for a number of public industrial companies.

• The initial plan which will presented by the Minister of Industry and Investment, Abdelahamid Tammar, to the PM Ahmed Ouyahia, includes 222 public companies, containing a proposal to benefit from financial support by the government in order to preserve more than 34.000 jobs.

• Echorouk verified a number of reports which were adopted to rescue and correct the privatisation. They show that since the government launched the privatisation process in 2003 preserving 191 privatisation process.

• During the same year 33 process were through the assignment of the capital by more than 50%, and 11 other operations knew partial privatization by less than 50%, and 69 process led to the assignment of institutions to their employees who wished to retain them.
