Waed between singing and broadcasting

According to the London daily Elaph, the Saudi artist Waed has moved out from behind the microphone to stand in front of the television cameras. Waed has started co-hosting a new entertainment show called “Layali Al Somer” (Dark Shade Nights), her firs hosting experience for a television show.

• Waed is now staying in Cairo to film episodes of her new show.
• During an interview with Elaph, Waed said that her new show focuses on music and various Arab music artists. Waed said that she doesn’t consider herself a television co-host, because her new show is all about music.
• Waed also talked about her latest song called “Bahibak Jidan” (I Love You So Much). The new song brings a new and different measure of Waed’s voice.
• Waed recently filmed a video clip for one of her songs in New York.
• She also talked about the new fashion collection she launched called “Waed Line.”
