Wave to reject violence between Algeria and Egypt ahead of qualifying match
Many media and sports observers in Egypt hailed an initiative launched by Algeria’s Echorouk Al Yaoumi newspaper and Egypt’s Echorouk to reject violence ahead of the qualifying match due to be held on November 14.

Al Arabiya news channel Thursday talked about the initiative qualifying it as “respectable.”

Earlier, many Egyptians called for stopping media debate between Algeria and Egypt. Some Egyptian channels overstated the situation relating to the match.

In a TV program on Al Arabiya channel, the Algerian coach Amer Mansoul said media should show respect to stop any attempt to trigger conflict between the Algerian and Egyptian people.
