Workers of « TONIC » group condemned, in a correspondence addressed to the president Abdelaziz Bouteflika, the practices, according to them, that are violating the international laws and ethics of the judicial control, calling the first judge of the country to intervene and put an end to the abuses of the judicial inspector of the Tonic group Rachid Bouraoui, who is violating the laws and ethics of his mission through spending the company’s money without paying attention to the laws of the republic which obliged the public and private dealers to use the checks in their financial and commercial transactions in order to prevent tax evasion, and to prevent money laundering and smuggling via non-banking sources, thus preventing of the non-legitimate enrichment.

• Workers of the company said, in their letter to the president, they have become victims of the judge Rachid.B, who considered the case a personal issue, between him and the original owner of the company, who was put far from the company’s running, in order to allow himself (the judge) to steal about 900 billion dinars from the transferred and fixed money of the company, neglecting stability and dignity of the people of a whole region, where many families working in the company live.
• “We decided to move and save our families lives and dignity. The judge seeks to force the company into a programmed bankruptcy. We want to save the company and the national economy because the mafia of importation is seeking to steal billions of dollars from the public treasury in order to transfer them abroad under the guise of paper products’ importation. Law criminalizes coverage of acts that must be reported, including looting and laundering of the public money”, the workers say.
• To ensure more silence and complicity, the inspection judge raises wages of some of his friends in a very clear manner, without respecting the rules and measures or even consulting the office of studies, knowing that the output of these units is negative. The wages rise between 100% and 200%, as well as distribution of 1.2 billion dinars on the workers in an anarchical way during the last Eid Al Adha.
• The correspondence revealed on serious abuses that must be punishable by the Algerian law, including the double-billing and fictitious operations for maintenance of equipments, as for example, the billing of maintenance happened in the company’s office, only the contractor can validate the bill, one manager recruits his father in a contractor’s office in Blida, west of Algiers, in order to ensure confidential treatment of the operation, then the father and son programmed things together and settled all the bills.
• With such abuses and others, the inspection judge did not hesitate to mislead the Algerian justice through wrong reports he sent about the company’s financial situation, in order to speed up and put it under a state of bankruptcy and cover the disasters of misconduct since his appointment. That’s why the workers decided to send a letter to the president in order to stop this clear violation of law and save their lives.
