World boxing champion Bengasmia escapes assassination

The World Boxing champion, Mouhamed Bengasmia, told Echorouk Friday, he was crazily chased by white car type Nissan when he was going to Tigzirt in Tizi Ouzou, east of Algiers, in order to attend a ceremony in the region, accompanied by his manager Mohamed Guenif at about 11 pm.

• “I stopped for a period in the area and I met with the passengers who were on board of this vehicle then they tried to injure me, but he escaped using a high speed of 130 km until I reached a check point where the car disappeared after a 2 km pursuit”, he said.
