World Cup 2010 draw: Algeria to face England, USA and Slovenia

Algeria will face England, the USA and Slovenia in Group C as the draw for the World Cup was made in South Africa Friday. Earlier, it had been in Pot 3 along with Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.

• This is the third time Algeria has qualified for the World Cup finals after winning a play-off against Egypt in Sudan.

                                       Opening match: South Africa/ Mexico

• Algeria’s matches:       – 13th June: Algeria/ Slovenia at Plokwane (13h30)  
                                       -18th June: Algeria/ England at Cape Town (20h30)
                          -23rd June: Algeria/ USA at Pretoria (16h00)
