In an interview to the Egyptian newspaper “Al Ahram”, he yesterday revealed that the Pharaohs deserve to qualify to the prestigious competition before any other else, calling on the Egyptians to stand by their squad and do not lose faith in the abilities of their national team.

The Zambian head coach went on saying that the draw imposed at home against the Egyptians doesn’t prove anything saying ‘” The Egyptians went into their first training camp since the 2008 African Cup competition and their weak performance is somehow logical, all big squads cross through this difficult period, so can we state that Italia is the world champion ? if we look at their matches during the qualifiers”

Henri belittled his team’s chances to go to the world cup refusing to be assimilated to his fellow citizen Bruno Metsu who led the Senegalese squad to this prestigious competition, arguing that he doesn’t have the same means that helped Metsu to go to the world cup, his players do not posses the required experience for such a competition.
