10 Ministers at an urgent meeting to modernize Algiers

PM Abdelmalek Sellal is meeting, here on Thursday, with ministers of the sectors that are concerned with improving Algiers environment and end the old buildings definitively, in the context of searching ways to ensure a modern conduct of Algiers which occupied bad ranking in the list of most beautiful cities of the world, because of the lack of public facilities.
Prime Minister summoned ten ministers to a common ministerial meeting that he intends to hold at the headquarters of Algiers Wilaya with the presence of Abdelkader Zoukh, for the first time in a step that shows the sureness of improving Algiers environment and modernize it, in order to be among the most beautiful capitals of the world
Joint ministerial council which is relied upon its results to solve the problem of ancient buildings in Algiers, carries two files in its agenda, the file of conducting the city and the file of old buildings, and the way to close this file definitively in light of the talk about reports that confirm the rising number of ancient buildings and their danger on the daily life of citizens, and its negative impact on the capital’s various rankings.
Parties which prepared a terrible report warned about the file of ancient buildings saying that it has a direct impact on various projects of development that is programmed to be established in Algiers, especially what is related to the various housing projects with their various formulas and hierarchies, including road, transport and facilities projects.
Echorouk sources asserted that the meeting is expected to give a new impetus for the process of housing deportation that’s expected to start this month.
