2010 African Handball Championship: Algeria draw level 21-21 vs Tunisia

Algeria and Tunisia tied 21-21 (halftime: 7-11) in the final game of the second round of the 2010 Africa of Nations Handball Championship competition (men) played Wednesday in the Egyptian capital Cairo.

• Tunisia now occupy the top slot of the standings of Group II ahead of Algeria thanks to a better goal average (+12 against +7).
• Angola for their part were shut out from the African handball contest and finished 3rd in the table after losing their two crucial matches versus Tunisia (21-33) and Algeria (19-26).
• In the semi-finals scheduled for next Friday February 19th in Cairo, Algeria will be pitted against host country and title-holder Egypt, and Tunisia will be confronted with DR Congo.
