2010 African Handball Cup: Echorouk sponsors Algeria team

Algeria’s Echorouk newspaper and the national handball team signed a sponsoring and a partnership contract Tuesday as part of its sports support policy.

• Echorouk will be the principal sponsor in 2010 African Handball Cup due to be held in Egypt fro February 7th to February 22nd.

• The newspaper has sponsored a large number of local teams as well as the national football squad who qualified to 2010 World Cup. This sponsoring aims at promoting Algeria’s sports and improving their level.

• Echorouk’s presence in Egypt is a new challenge for the largest newspaper in the Arab World. Egyptian authorities will work on ensuring protection to the national team so that the bus attacks would not happen once again.

• Algeria’s handball players will have Echorouk logo on their shirts. The newspaper challenges those who are asking for its closure as it was supporting the national football squad.
