50 Algerian illegal immigrants detained in Morocco

Families of Algerian young illegal immigrants from Mostaghanem and Oran, west of Algeria, face since April 2010, many obstacles in order to determine the fate of 30 youngsters.

 

 

 

 

  • The Algerian young illegal immigrants sailed on April 13, 2010 from one of the eastern shores of Oran, west of Algeria, on board of rubber boats towards the Spanish coasts.

  • Sources from the families of these young illegal immigrants told Echorouk that 50 Algerians are detained by Moroccan security services and put in Rabat prison, including a number of illegal immigrants who were rescued by the coast guards in Morocco, on last April.

  • Sources from the family of Bou Said from Sidi Ali, east of Mostaghanem, west of Algeria, told Echorouk that they have information, through contacts with Moroccans working at the Royal security services, stating on the presence of 50 Algerian prisoners in Rabat prison, including illegal immigrants who were rescued by Moroccan coast guards.

  • Bou Said family knew, according to statements by the father of an illegal immigrant Mourad 24 and Namir Boumediene 25, who sailed on last April along with a group of illegal immigrants from Oran, west of Algeria, the two youngsters are detained in Rabat prison after Moroccan coast guards rescued them.

  • Families of those illegal immigrants called on the Algerian authorities, in particular the services of Algerian Embassy in Rabat for a need intervention to clarify the situation of these illegal immigrants.
