5,343 Algerian Illegal Immigrants Arrested On Spanish Coasts During 2020

 European Union’s shocking data about illegal immigration during the year 2020 revealed that the number of Algerian illegal immigrants who were arrested on the Spanish coasts reaches 5,343.
The figures that were reported by the Algerian League for the Defense of Human Rights, on the occasion of the International Migration Day, confirmed the continuation of the illegal immigration wave towards the other side of the Mediterranean.
According to the ALDHR, these figures represent the period between January and September 6, 2020.

The European Union’s Data on Algerian Immigrants:

Over 704101 Algerians hold a residence permit in the European Union, of whom 37,714 are beneficiaries of a new residence permit.
In 2019: 30,890 Algerian immigrants are living in an irregular situation in Europe.
In 2018: Over 1,528 Algerians in an irregular situation were expelled from France.
From the beginning of 2020 until September 6, over 5,343 Algerian illegal immigrants were arrested on the Spanish coast, and 85 disappeared at sea during the same period.
In 2019, there are 294,000 irregular migrants in Algeria, according to the International Organization for Migration.
