561 Buildings in the list of “very serious” on residents

Special Committee of the National Commission for Architects that was created after the recent earthquake counted about 561 buildings out of 4427 buildings in the red box, as these buildings are located in Kasbah municipality, as it also counted 25,000 buildings which need to be repaired and attention as soon as possible, and this only in Algiers.
In the same context, the same commission has conducted first expertise of about 1412 buildings, while the technical teams of the National Commission for Engineers conducted expertise operations on buildings that have been newly completed and which are 2015 buildings, as these buildings are located in “AADL” city in Heraoua, and cities of Bir Touta in Algiers, and neighborhoods that belong to AADL in Bordj Kiffan and Rouiba, in addition to the workshops, which reached the final stage of constructionو
The process has been conducted in collaboration with experienced engineers who belong to the office of conducting the protected cultural properties, especially the fragile buildings.
APS said on Wednesday that all the buildings that are classified in the red rank and which number reached 561 buildings are located in the Municipality of Casbah, as this classification means that there should be an immediate evacuation of buildings, as recorded with a number of buildings that are controlled in orange rank, which calls for action to enable the rapid evacuation of the restoration.
Same source revealed that the experts’ report will be presented to the government today to start the horrible embodiment of an emergency plan under the second phase of the process, which includes the draft law that was submitted to the government about creating an emergency engineering, which includes national experts who have special knowledge to deal with the effects of natural disasters, as well as giving an international dimension to work on helping countries that are suffering from natural disasters, as well as the reconstruction of buildings including Palestine.
