The National Commission of Service Projects in education sector continues its freezing activity it started in June while more than 8,000 billion centimes are “frozen,” Echorouk has learnt.

The Commission will not keep the activities frozen until the education minister Nouria Ramoune Benghebrit intervenes to solve a conflict between elected members and central management structure.

The conflict is due to prerogatives interference, according to the same sources.

The Commission sent a letter to the minister on March 2rd to ask for a “legal advice” about the interference case. Yet, the answer came late as the Commission had already froze its activities.

The commission will contact the ministry for the second time to ask for the appointment of a “new central management structure.”

The same sources said service projects money is estimated at more than 800 billion centimes but it is still frozen due to the ban on activities.

The Commission said it wants to exercise its prerogatives in conformity to the law.
