General Manager of the National Official for Hajj and Umrah, Sheikh Barbara reassured citizens who did not yet obtain visas to perform pilgrimage, that coordination with the Saudi embassy started to end all the measures here on Saturday and Sunday.

He announced that ,9500 Algerian pilgrims are visiting Mecca and Medina, adding that the office of hajj and umrah agreed with hotels to provide breakfasts for free for every Algerian pilgrim.

Sheikh Barbara told Echorouk, in a phone conversation, that all pilgrims will travel to the holy sites, and work is ongoing at the Saudi embassy to prepare the visas, noting that there is a huge pressure on the services of Dairas, and the Interior Ministry services at the government palace, due to the influx of pilgrims to get visas, but they become surprised when they do not find their passports, thinking that they have been missed at the level of these services.
