President Bouteflika returns to Algeria

President Bouteflika returned on Saturday to Algeria coming from France after a short trip that led him last Thursday to Grenoble, in the south of France, in order to undergo a medical examination under the supervision of his medical crew, the Presidency Office said in a brief statement on Saturday.

“President Bouteflika returned from France, on Saturday evening. Bouteflika underwent a periodic medical examination”.

Prior to the presidency’s statement by nearly two hours, several French media, like AFP and BFM TV, and the regional newspaper “Dauphiné Libéré” in Grenoble which published the news of the President Abdelaziz Bouteflika departure from Alembert clinic in Grenoble, returning to Algeria.

“A convoy of cars came out of Alembert clinic in the Hospital Group of Grenoble, under tight security procedures, which confirmed that it is about an important personality. It took its way in the direction of Grenoble airport, and gave more details when it spoke about a medical plane that was waiting for President Bouteflika at the airport.”

Algerian Presidency Office dealt with the news of the movement of Bouteflika to France, in a visit that it described as special, through issuing a statement that confirms his return after spending two nights in the medical clinic.

French media confirmed that he underwent a medical examination at the services of heart diseases, confirming that it absorbed the lesson, and is satisfied with the results of the secret adoption and anonymity in such news, and it constitutes a rich material for the foreign media, and a material for national media which expressed, in many times, its dissatisfaction with the adoption of foreign media as sources for this news.
