Foreign Affairs Ministry sent strict instructions to its services in Embassies and Consulates in France and the rest of the European countries, in order to alleviate the suffering of the Algerian immigrants, in order to get bio-metric passports, citizenship certificate and the document of criminal record, in a reasonable time.

These instructions came in the meeting which was chaired by the Secretary General of the Foreign Affairs Ministry, Abdelhamid Senousi Breksi, at the headquarters of the Algerian Embassy in Paris, on Friday and Saturday, which brought together the heads of consular offices in France and across Europe, where the second man in the Foreign Ministry stressed on the need to end the suffering of the Algerian community regarding access to the bio-metric identification documents.
Yards of consular offices in France, become squares of long queues, to the extent Algerians sleep in those arenas, in order to end their suffering at the lowest cost of time and effort, which caused large disquiet of the population living near the consulate centers, because of bad scenes by some documents subscribers.
During the meeting, Secretary-General of the Foreign Ministry stressed the need to take actions that would respond to the concerns of the national community abroad and respect the delivery dates of documents to the owners, as it was decided to reduce deadlines for the preparation and delivery of bio-metric passports, and open a website that allows each immigrant to follow up the various stages of processing of the bio-metric passport.
Among the facilities that were released by the meeting also accepting the captured image via the scanner device for children under the age of 12 years and the sick and elderly, and not forcing them to attend at the level of consular services.
