Social media like Facebook and YouTube spoke on Wednesday about artistic news that attracted many people, and which were published by Moroccan websites, confirming that Cheb Khaled Hadj Brahim quieted singing, and attached videos with the news, and said that this was a goodwill from Cheb Khaled to sing a religious song titled ”Forgiveness”, calling for reconciliation with oneself and returning to Allah.
News about Cheb Khaled spread quickly on Facebook, as some people said these are good news and a good initiative, while others who know him well considered the news a rumor.
Strikingly, the promoters of these news supported their news with a video, and put a picture of Cheb Khaled, asserting that it is a religious song that confirms the truth about the repentance of Cheb Khaled.
Echorouk succeeded with difficulty in contacting Cheb Khaled, and he denied the news categorically, expressing his displeasure with the series of recent rumors against him.. saying: ”I do not care about people who are trying to spread lies, because i am tired of the series of rumors and false news, and on this basis I preferred not to grant them the opportunity to exploit my name, and turn rumors and to a public opinion issue. All I can say is that I will not give importance to these rumors and from here on, those who want to lie are free.”
