A university teacher found dead in her flat in Algiers

Aicha Ghettas, a teacher at the University of Algiers has been found dead in her flat at El Mohamadia suburb, southern Algiers.

Aicha Ghettas, a teacher at the University of Algiers has been found dead in her flat at El Mohamadia suburb, southern Algiers.

The victim, who lived alone in her flat, has been discovered by her neighbor who alerted police. 

The republic prosecutor has ordered to open an investigation to figure out the circumstances of her death. 

However, president of teachers’ trade union (SNAPAP), Rachid Malaoui stated that the victim was not a member of the National Coordination for Democracy and Change (CNCD), as reported earlier.
