Adlène Guedioura to Echorouk: “My favourite post is in the midfield”

The Algeria international, Adlène Guedioura, has said in an exclusive interview with the newspaper “Echorouk” that his genuine post within the national line-up must be in the midfield and not in the right flank of the defense.

• Guedioura said that during the recent friendly international fixture in Dublin versus Ireland, he was not fully at ease on the pitch as he played in the right flank of the Algerian defensive line.

• However, he stressed that he fully respected the tactical choices of the national team coach Rabah Saâdane and would play in any post chosen for him by the coach.

• Adlène Guedioura also said that his only aim was to bring his all-out contribution to his team-mates on the way to victory in the upcoming World football contest due to kick off on June 11th South Africa.

• He further indicated that the Greens’ current living environment in South Africa was most propitious to allow them to make a good showing in the World cup with the set objective: “reaching the second round of the competition”.
