“We managed uncovering Assad regime crimes against Syrians,” Shaam.org editor Shaam.org is gaining more visitors as it is the only window uncovering the crimes perpetuated there by the regime of President Bashar al-Assad on protestors seeking freedom and liberty in Syria, amid a total media blackout.

It is nicknamed the voice of the opposition, while the regime in Syria accuses it of serving the West agenda.

Echorouk managed interviewing editor of ww.champress.net, who preferred neither revealing his name nor associating his picture to this interview.

He said: “We are Syrian youths inside and outside the country, and we have launched our website when the revolt erupted, because we knew in advance that we are dealing with a repressive regime and instrumented media which never reflect the people’s will,” adding “We created this website because we knew that if we didn’t report about what is going on, nobody would be able to see the truth.”

“The website is funded by our own means, and we are supported by no foreign party as the regime alleged. Our ultimate goal is serving our revolution, nothing more.” the Shaam.org editor specified.

The interlocutor further mentioned that internet and mobile phones have enabled Syrians uncovering the crimes perpetuated by the regime of al-Assad, while Shaam.org is only a vehicle.
