AFF (CAF) annual awards: Algerian Desert Warriors nominated for best African team

The African Football Federation (CAF) chose Algeria top of the list for the three best teams which are nominated for the Best African Team in 2010, then Ghana and Egypt.

 This new ranking came after Algerian team was classified fourth during the recent Africa Cup of Nations (CAN) because he lost in the first round.

Chances of the Algerian team are few compared to Ghana which ranked second, as it showed a high level during the World Cup South Africa, although Algeria’s squad got the award last year.

The AFF (CAF) will also award the best player of the year on December 20, as Algerian Desert Warrior Riad Boudebouz, also playing for the French Seauchaux club, Ghana player Asamwah Kwadou and the Nigerian Moussa Mazou will lead the race for the award.
