African Cup of Nations: Leekens calls in 26 local players to test them

Algeria coach Georges Leekens Wednesday called in 26 local players to take a three-day-preparatory training session for the national local team. It is due to be held on Sunday at Sidi Moussa National centre in Algiers. This is meant to test some of them ahead of the African Cup of Nations 2017.

Leekens is expected to seize the opportunity of the training session to check the level of some players as new players may join the national team.

It will also be an opportunity to have an idea about the capacity of some goal keepers. 

A total of 15 new players were called in for the training session.
