Bernard Boudaille, representative of the French IAO, in charge of the case, said in a press conference, Saturday in Bamako; “Investigations do not identify until now the real causes of the crush”.
He did not propose any hypothesis that explain Swift-air plane’s crush, that was hired by Air Algerie, in the Ghousi region (100 km southwestern) Gao, in the northeast of Mali on last July.
Bernard Boudaille added, during the presentation of the initial report of investigation on the crush that killed 116 passengers, including 54 French nationals; “There is no cause that explains the plane’s crush. At the present time nothing proves that we can exclude or confirm the hypothesis of a terrorist act. We do not expect both hypotheses”.
In this press conference that was allocated to announce on the initial results of investigation, French investigators did not provide answers or even signals, especially as the preliminary data of one black box shows that the pilot was unable to deal with the violent storm, and failed to get enough away from it.
It also show that the plane crushed after three minutes violently on the ground.
