“Aid el-fitr to be celebrated on Friday in Algeria”

In conformity with the guidelines of the national commission in charge of the sighting of the lunar crescent, Friday September 10th will be celebrated as being the first day of the “Chaoual” month in the Muslim Calendar and will be thereby the first day of Aid el-fitr festival marking the end of the holy month of fasting of Ramadhan.
