Air Algerie aircrew have threatened to start anew their strike as by next Monday, as the administration headed by the new installed CEO Mohamed Saleh Boultif has not met their demands yet.

A well informed source told Echorouk reporter that the stewardess, stewardesses and ground attendants have launched talks with the new administration to discuss their demands, including wage hikes.
In fact the new CEO of Air Algerie has yet decided implementing a 20 percent wage hikes, rather than 150 percent claimed by the aircrew.
The source further added that the former CEO was about to meet their claims, before being fired. Yet, the new CEO considers the aircrew’s claims as “exaggerating,” saying he would accept implementing a 20 percent increase in wages, nothing more.
The employees are stick on their demands, requiring bringing their wages from 40 000 DZD up to 90 000 DZD.
