Air Algérie Imposes New Conditions for Luggage Transfer

Air Algerie company announced a number of measures that are taken to regulate the transfer of luggage and prevent recurrence of its loss scenarios, and in order to avoid registration of new complaints by customers by adopting the same precautions measures that are used by international airline companies, and identifying the available luggage, both of those hand-held or charged after control, as the value varies depending on the destination and the booking class.
Air Algerie company takes new measures in the field of shipping luggage, to be able to respond to the demands of various segments of customers, and it comes with luggage and hand luggage that are destined for control, as the customers will be able, starting from the January 1, to take the hand luggage that does not exceed in the maximum cases 10 kg, and 5 kg with respect to the classes “ATR”, and with regard to the PCs and cameras, they are the only luggage that are licensed, while their dimensions should not exceed 35 centimetres, 55 centimetres long and 25 centimetres wide.
According to the company’s statement, which copy is available to Echorouk, in respect of luggage that is destined for control, the company allows the transfer of luggage that does not exceed the total length and height of 158 cm, while the weight in all cases must not exceed 30 kg, as the customer is advised not to put high value staff like money and important documents, computer and cameras with the large luggage.
