Air Algerie is not for sale, says CEO
Air Algerie airline’s CEO Mohamed Abdou Bouderbala Sunday said aircrafts aged more than 20 years will not be used anymore. “Flight delays problem will not exist as from the current month. There is no favouritism neither cheating in recruitment examinations,” he said.
Bouderbala also said “Air Algerie is not for sale.”
He told Echorouk he gave strict instructions to his senior managers to promote employees after they are selected by a specialized commission.
“Everyone is equal. No one has the right to be hired by Air Algerie if he is no competent,” he added.
Asked about flight delays, he said new measures came into force on February 1st to settle this problem.
He talked about a “modernization” plan which is meant to improve the company’s relation with its customers who always complain of its services quality.
“Services level should be improved to meet international standards. This endeavour will be applied with the involvement of social partners and Air Algerie’s executives,” he said.
