Alain Juppé to visit Oran on Thursday

French FM Alain Juppé will visit Algeria on June 15 and 16 for talks with highest authorities in Algiers before visiting Oran (west of Algeria) for a cooperation agreement with the city of Bordeaux, a French official website said here on Tuesday.

Alain Juppé will arrive to Algiers on Wednesday night and will begin his visit with a working dinner with the Algerian FM Mourad Medelci and will meet with PM Ahmed Ouyahia on Thursday morning.

The French FM will meet with the Wali of Oran Abdelmalek Boudiaf and Mayor Zineddine Hassam and then he will visit the French Cultural Centre where he will meet with students.

This important visit aims to tighten the bilateral ties between both Algeria and France and is expected to make progress at the political level and the strategic regional issues in the Maghreb and security in Sahel region and the Middle East.The visit aims to boost economic cooperation as well.
