Algeria 1- Gabon 2: Desert Warriors still worrying
The Algerian national football team lost 2-1in a friendly match with Gabon on Wednesday night in the July 5 Stadium in Algiers.

The Desert Warriors received two goals to zero before reducing the score with a goal scored by Djebbour minutes from the end of the match. Gabon has had several opportunities to add other goals but they failed.

The match noticed a bad level, with many technical errors for both Algeria and Gabon teams. Desert Warriors are still worrying, as they did not seem dangerous before a modest team like Gabon.

Algerian players have once again proved impotent in attack, unable to build and finish actions. In the absence of Halliche, defence has been weak with some reminders.

Despite negative results in the Africa Cup of Nations and World Cup, Coach Rabah Saadane, was placed again at the coaching of Algeria’s squad, and it seems that he has much work to do in order to prepare a team that could show a good performance and maintain an honourable ranking among African teams.
