General Director of Exams and Competitive Exams Office Mebarek Mohamed Amine said the number of candidates for the Baccalaureate exam 2015 reached 1 million and 71,000.

“Enrollment for the Baccalaureate exam 2015 on the Internet was closed on November 2nd after the process had been extended for two more days,” Mohamed Amine told Echorouk.

“Within 16 days, at total of 560,000 candidates enrolled to take the BEM exam. A total of 613,000 candidates enrolled for the primary final exam. Because of that, the number of exam and correction centers may be raised,” he added.

The Office’s website will be reopened between January 15th and February 15th to confirm the enrollment. “If a mistake occurs, the candidate should inform his school or education directors.”

The General Director also said the education ministry took new measures to cheer up candidates inside exam rooms.

“The number of independent candidates per room will be raised to 20 from 15. There will be 4 supervisors in each room instead of 5,” said the Office’s General Director.
