Algeria 40 in FIFA World Ranking of April

Algerian Football Team is 40 (609 points). It wins 15 ranks in Fifa World Ranking of April 2011, published here on Wednesday on its official website.

 This qualitative move came after Desert Warriors realized a victory over Atlas Lions (1-0) in Annaba (east of Algeria) for the third round of the CAN 2012 qualifications.

On the African level, Algeria 6^th behind Ghana (15+1), Ivory Coast (21+4),Egypt (36-1), Nigeria (38+1) and South Africa (39+7).

The Moroccan team, the coming opponent of Algeria in the CAN playoffs, is 71 losing six ranks compared to March raking.

The two other contenders of Algeria team in Group D, Tanzania (112+9) and Central Africa (114-2).

World Cup winner Spain is on top of the ranking before Netherlands. Brazil is third (+2), then Germany 4^{th (-1)} and Argentina 5^th (-1).
