Algeria national football team has managed on Sunday night beating Morocco 1-0, to revive its chances to qualify to the African Nations Cup (CAN 2012).Napoli’s midfielder Hassan Yebda, scored the unique goal on a penalty (7’), offering thus an early lead to the Greens, which had been consolidated until the end of the game.Morocco tried hard to equalize, via Arsenal’s strike Marouane Chemakh, but Algeria’s goalkeeper Rais Mbolhi saved his area with the help of the cohesion of Hearts’ defender Ismael Bouzid and Bochum’s Anthar Yahia.For now, the four teams of Group D, Tanzania and Central Africa included, detains 4 points each, which means that the sole qualification ticket to CAN 2012 is yet to be clinched.Day IV of the qualifiers sees Algeria facing Morocco next June 6th in Marrakech, while Central Africa receives Tanzania a day later.
