Algeria and UAE reinforce fruitful investment cooperation

The Algerian embassy in Abu-Dhabi organized an official ceremony on the 62nd anniversary of the Algerian Revolution. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, the United Arab Emirates Ministry of Culture, Youth, and Social Development and Maitha Salem Alshamsi, Minister of State in the UAE attended the ceremony.

Algiers’ Ambassador in the UAE Salah Atiya praised the “expectional brotherhood” relation between the two peoples and said cooperation relations were improved.

He also praised the first Emirati-Algerian investment conference held in Abu-Dhabi on April 17th. A record number of businessmen and investors from both countries attended it.

The Ambassador said the conference opened promising horizons and would boost bilateral cooperation between the two countries.

He added that the embassy is ready to inaugurate Algeria’s participation for the first time in Sheikh Zayed Turathi Festival in Abu-Dhabi and Dubai.

Speaking about Algerians living in the UAE, Atiya praised their level saying they represent an elite and the UAE is their second country.

“I am proud of Algerians who contribute in the UAE’s development process and reinforcement of relations between the two peoples,” he said.
