Algeria: ANP troops eliminate three terrorists and retrieve their weapons in Tadmait area

Elements of the National Popular Army (ANP) succeeded Thursday at around midday in eliminating three terrorists near the public coach station of the town of Tadmait, about 15 kms from the city of Tizi Ouzou, east of Algiers.  

• The successful anti-terrorist operation was carried out by ANP troops following the gathering of in-depth clues and information about the presence of a group of dangerous terrorists in the area.

• The 3 terrorists were caught in crossfire as they were on board a vehicle traveling between Algiers and Tizi Ouzou.
•  
• They fell into the Army’s well – devised trap at the entrance of Tadmait.
•  
• 3 Kalachnikov rifles and a quantity of ammunition were retrieved by the ANP forces after the neutralization of the 3 terrorists.
