Algeria : army besieges terrorists in Boumerdes

According to corroborating security sources, over 20 Al Qaeda-affiliated terrorists are currently ringed off by troops of the National Popular Army near the town of Bordj Menail in Boumerdes province, 50 km east of Algiers .

 

The same sources told Echorouk newspaper that 4 terrorists had already been put out of action in an Army onslaught yesterday in the Ben Bata area, not far from the small locality of Legata.

 

Several terrorists’ hide-outs were also destroyed by the surging Algerian Army troops who are still carrying out a large scale combing operation there with the aim of stamping out all terrorist activities in the whole region.
