Retired officer, Ramadane Hamlalet, read the unofficial information that talked about the existence of signs of Algerian mediation between the opponents of the Libyan crisis, in an attempt by the Algerian authorities to fill the void that was left by the deficit in the Egyptian initiative with the neighbouring countries of Libya.

Hamlalet said: “Egypt is living a complex political crisis, security unrest and large economic difficulties, which precludes its role that it was entrusted by the neighbouring countries of Libya, which entrusted it with the political aspect of the crisis that hit this country”.
Retired officer attributed the difficulty of the Egyptian task, to a set of data, the first is that Egypt has become a party of the Libyan crisis, especially after announcing the support of the retired Gen. Khalifa Hafter, commander of the so-called “battle of dignity”, backed by the United States of America, and its involvement in the bombing of sites for armed militias that are calculated on the Islamists, using military aircraft, which makes its position weak in any political mediation.
In contrast, political analyst said that Algeria is the only country among the Libyan neighbouring countries, that is capable of undertaking any initiative to resolve the blockage of its eastern neighbour, as Algeria, adds the spokesman, is the most stable militarily, politically and economically, and being not involved in supporting the faction at the other expense in Libya crisis, which is positioned to play the role of mediator successfully.
