Algeria coach Vahid Hallilozidc expressed fears over « spies » on opponents in Groupe H : Belgium, South Korea and Russia. He had Thursdya’s training session behind closed-doors and even the FAF’s workers and adminsitraive employees did not attend it. He asked to forbid any stranger to enter in.

According to people close to the national team, the Bosnian coach focused on striking as he worked with strikers and mid-fielders such as Islam Slimani, Sofiane Faghouli, Yacine Brahimi, Hilel Larbi Soudani, Abdelmoumene Djabou, Nabil Ghiles and Ryad Mehrez.

He also talked with his strikers about the matches against Romania and Armenia respectively. He showed them their mistakes and asked them to rectify them in the game against Belgium. His players watched video tapes about the opponent’s defence during official matches.
