Algeria coordinates with Morocco and Tunisia to face ISIS

Morocco, Algeria and Tunisia started tracking fighters from Syria who want to join ISIS as Algerian security forces supervise the operation, a Moroccan newspaper said on Monday citing a security report.

The « Ghosts Hunting » operation is based on information exchange concerning recrutment of fighters in Iraq and Syria through different sources. Cells are dismantled and some involved people are arrested, according to the same source.

This comes as Algeria, Tunisia and Syria are also working together to face the ISIS’ fighters.

Early this week, two meetings were held by senior officers from the three countries to exchange information about Syrians and fighters who came back fom Syria.
