Algeria dissatisfied about Rafah closed crossing point
Secretary General of the Workers’ Party Louisa Hanoune Wednesday said there is a national concordance about Algeria’s position towards the Zionist attack on Gaza. “Prime Minister Abdelmalek Sellal should put pressure on the Egyptian government to allow aid to reach people there.”
“I talked to the Prime Minister about the situation in Gaza. I asked him to put pressure on the Egyptian government to open Rafah crossing point,” Hanoune told a news conference in Algiers.
“Sellal told me aid can not reach Gaza as everything is closed,” she added.
Hanoune also said she wanted Algeria not to be stuck at the Arab League and its positions as it is has the most courageous and clear position compared to other Arab countries.
The leader of the Workers’ Party called on public authorities to blackmail France about its position toward Gaza in return for deals with its companies.
“It’s time to exploit business and commerce in diplomacy against them,” she said.
