Algeria Embassy in Libya: ” All the Algerians settled in Libya are safe and sound”
The Algerian Ambassador accredited to Tripoli has told “Echorouk” that all the Algerians settled in Lybia are safe and sound despite the ongoing unrest jollting the country.
- The Ambassador Mr Abdelhamid Bouzahar said in a telephone conversation with “Echorouk” that there was no report of any Algerian hurt in the ongoing street protests now rocking several Libyan cities notably Benghazi where the street clashes are reportedly the most violent.
- He added that the Algerian Embassy officials had received instructions from the government in Algeria to do everything possible to deal accordingly with the concerns and requests of all the Algerians settled in various parts of Libya.
- He asserted that the Algerian diplomatic representation in Libya was fully available to ensure the repatriation of any Algerian nationals and their families willing to leave the country on account of the current street turmoil besetting the country.
