Algeria held consultations with the EU on combating terrorism

Algiers- A EU delegation led by Gilles de Kerchove coordinator of the EU for Combating Terrorism visited Algeria on Saturday, an official source said.

Same source said that this visit will last until June 21within the framework of bilateral consultations between Algeria and the EU in combating terrorism and issues related to security.

Kerchove met with the Algerian delegation led by Kamal Razak Bara, adviser to the President for talks here on Sunday.

The official source explained that both parties lunched an intensive study on the status of cooperation between Algeria and the EU in the fight against transnational terrorism and renews their common will to continue on the same intensification.
