Algeria holds on colonialism criminalisation law
Algerian war veteran's minister Mohamed Cherif Abbas
Civil society organisations in Algeria are still attached to the law on colonialism criminalisation, Algerian war veterans’ minister Mohamed Cherif Abbas said on Saturday.
- “This claim is neither null and void nor new because it is not specified to a given generation,” Mohamed Cherif Abbas told the Algerian news Agency (APS) in an interview.
- “Colonialism glorification causes the human conscience indignation in general and that of people who suffer from it in particular,” he added.
- Algeria will celebrate on Sunday the 66th anniversary of May 8th, 1945’s Massacres committed by the French occupation.
