Echorouk informed sources said the French coach Gerard Gili will join the Algeria team as soon as possible in order to work as an aid coach along with Abdelhak Benchikha.

Echorouk sources asserted that the head of AFF Mohamed Raouraoua agreed with the Algerian coach Benchikha to join the French coach.

Same sources added that the process is now linked to some simple procedures and will not exceed the month of January; this would be realized after the coming meeting between Benchikha and Gerard Gili.

On the other hand, echorouk sources, said that the French coach will be present in Algeria for a follow-up to the friendly match between Algeria and Tunisia scheduled on the Ninth of February 2011 at July 5th Stadium.

It is worth mentioning that the French Gerard Gili was the coach of Ivory Coast team as well as a number of French clubs such as Montpelier, Bordeaux and Marseille. He announced earlier that he is ready to work in Algeria during his meeting with the AFF in Doha, at the same time he refused the offer by Ivory Cost team.

The head of AFF launched a series of talks with some foreign technical staff to help Abdelhak Benchikha in his tasks.
