Algeria : man cut the throat of his wife and burnt her

Public opinion is still under the chock of the heinous crime perpetrated by the husband of mother of two children in the antic district of “Oued Al Fercha” d in the heart of the town of Annaba(East of Algeria) .

 Echourouk newspaper got in touch with the relatives of the victim to shed light on the tragic event. According to a close family member of the killed woman, the tragic event occurred in mysterious conditions, and stirred up outrage among the community who didn’t understand the real motives of the murderer known as an upright citizen.

The event took place on Saturday morning at the apartment in the fourth floor of a building located in the antic district. Just after the dawn prayer along with his wife, the source said, the father asked from his son, Oussama (20) to the post office in order to withdraw money.

The son obeyed but was bewildered buy his father attitude who locked the door behind and was smiling at him by the window. On his way back, Oussama was informed by his neighbors that smoke was coming out of the kitchen of his home.

On his arrival, the young man was horrified to the sight of his mother laying flat on the ground, throat- cut and burnt by welding torch. The father pushed the horror farther as he was waiving the knife and menacing his son with “I killed your mother, and here comes your turn”. But this one further added” No, I won’t kill you, I’ll let it burn in your heart all your life long”

Investigators have, for the moment, stopped their examination because the convict is psychologically unfit for any kind of inquiries and is not ready to reveal any detail about the motives that pushed him to commit such a horrible act.

But it seems that hard social conditions were the mean drives behind this crime, the father was heavily indebted to an extent that he sold all the furniture in his house. He was counting on his father’s help who lives in France till the moment that this one stopped his assistance.

Our reporter tried to probe deeper in the matter and paid visit to the sister’s victim, this one revealed to our journalist the lady was under the grip of her tyrannical husband.

The mental status of the convict, according to psychologists, was critical and was not aware at all of his acts.
