Algeria match against Egypt is 100 percent profit, says coach

Algeria has nothing to loose in the African Cup of Nations as its objective was to make the competition as an occasion to prepare for the World Cup, coach said.

• Few hours before the Thursday’s semi-final match against Egypt, Saadane said all what is coming next as part of the African Cup is a big profit to the national squad.

• “I respect the Egyptian squad and its coach Hassan Chahata. They have done well so far in the African Cup. I think our mission will not be easy against them. We know each other well. That would make thinks more complicated. Yet, we will play the match in a very normal way. The point is that we reached all our objectives in this competition and things should happen in a very normal way,” he told an Arabic satellite channel on Wednesday.

• All it seems that the national coach is not ready to forget about his conflict with some newspapers. “The Desert Foxes’ success is the best respond to those who tried to undermine me. They had the intention of replacing me by other coaches. Thanks to Allah, they failed in doing that. I chose to hold training sessions ahead of the African Cup in southern France. Everyone realised that my choice was right.”
