Algeria : Moroccan old lady on top of an international immigration network

The lady, who lives in he small town of “Al Aameria” with her son(21) ,in charge of passing illegal immigrants to the Moroccan territory, and an accomplice (46) who forges documents for these immigrants to facilitate there movements on the Spanish soil. Investigators seized numerous forged legal documents including, birth certificates in French and Arabic languages, job certificates, pay rolls issued by several companies, bookings in Spanish hotels and above all marriage certificates in French and Arabic. These documents were bearing a forged seal issued by one of the services of Oran’s town hall. During the investigation, the security services’ elements defined the task of each of the arrested elements. To start with, the man was in charge of falsifying legal documents using dried pens. For his part, the old lady’s son was driving the immigrants to the Moroccan soil to connect them with the rest of the network’s elements who will, afterwards, transport them to the Spanish territory. As to the ring leader, her role consists in supervising and managing this international network from the Algerian soil and collecting money from the immigrants to get their tickets to Spain. According to sources, the network’s activities stretch back to four years ago , but instead of reaching the Spanish soil, the immigrants who paid more than a million Algerian Dinars , end up in Moroccan prisons stripped of their personal belongings and money.
