Algeria new education minister commits to ensure successful exams

Algerian education minister Nouria Benghebrit asked independent unions to cooperate with each other to ensure successful official exams, saying she is ready to solve current problems after the Baccalureate exams session.

National Secretary in charge of information and communication at the National Independent Council of High School Teachers Messaoud Boudiba said a meeting was held with the minister on Thursday.

“It was a meeting to calm down the situation and an opportunity to know each other,” he told Echorouk.

The minister gave the impression that she is ready for dialogue with everyone including social partners to resolve suspended issues.
