Algeria opens 339 doctorate posts

The President of the Algiers University 3 Professor Rabah Chreit said the university year 2016-2017 had many positive points. Bureaucracy was eliminated and time was gained. A total of 339 posts were opened for the Doctorate competition exam.

Chriet said lectures and tutorial classes were launched. He stressed the necessity of the higher education minister Tahar Hadjar’s address in the Biskra University.

“The address represents a road map to develop the Algerian university,” he added.

Vice-president of the university in charge of higher studies Doctor Oulhadj Ferdiw said applications for the Doctorate competition exam will be examined. A preliminary list of selected candidates will be announced on October 3rd.

The final list of selected applicants will be announced between October 12th and 13th. They will set for the exam on October 15th.

Speaking about specialities, Ferdiw said the competition exam has a national character. A total of 43 specialities were opened. That enables to open 339 new pedagogical posts.
