Algeria received an offer from Syria to participate in the reconstruction of what was destroyed by the war during the five years, providing them with lists of Algerians who joined the terrorist organizations, especially ISIS and Nosra Front.

Fars Iranian Semi-official News Agency said that the Syrian offer was made during the visit of Minister of Maghreb and African Affairs and the Arab League, Abdelkader Messahel, last week to Damascus, and culminated with a meeting with President Bashar al-Assad, who asked for Algeria’s contribution to the reconstruction.

Algerian delegation, led by the Minister Messahel received, according to private sources in Fars News Agency, a detailed report of what it called the Algerian “extremists”.

Official and media circles in Syria, Iran and Iraq, described the “extremists” on people who belong to armed groups which are fighting Bashar al-Assad’s regime, particularly the radical organizations such as ISIS and the Nosra Front or Jund al-Sham, where their members reached more than 200, according to the source, which explained, “As part of the security cooperation between the two countries, Syria and Algeria, especially that Algeria is aware that the return of these terrorists in the absence of any data about them may pose a significant threat to the security of the country in the next phase, especially that Algeria has a black experience with the Algerians who were recruited by Saudi Arabia, during the Afghan war in the eighties of the last century, when they formed the first nucleus of armed action in Algeria by the beginning of the nineties.

Fars News Agency sources asserted that “Algeria will not hesitate to accept the Syrian offer, through public or private companies to contribute to the reconstruction of what was destroyed by terrorism in Syria, or what they call “The Arab Spring”, which fire destroyed only the Republic Countries of Arab world, and did not reach the royal regimes in the same region.

“Algerian community is aware that Algeria, which has a large heroic past and an important history in the revolution and lived the horrors of colonialism over 130 years, will help Syria in the reconstruction phase, especially that Syria helped Algeria in its crisis with terrorism during the red decade that the country faced in the nineties, and which culminated in the Charter of Peace and National Reconciliation, an experience that Algeria transferred to Syria to take advantage of it in the next phase within the normalization of the situation in Syria.”
